PoStars

Postars is the perfect fusion of the beauty of space and the joy of observing cosmic events. Stargazers can discover upcoming celestial phenomena such as eclipses, meteor showers, and comets while accessing key details like weather conditions, event duration, peak visibility and other useful parameters. All this is delivered through an interface that generates personalized event posters, enhanced by creative coding elements that complement the posters' artistic style.

What did I learn from this experience?

During this project I handled a particular situation: I was inserted in an already existing group that had been developing the app for 1 month and a half.

• offered an outsider point of view to enrich the project
• studied how to generate creative coding from data
• learned how to align to the style of the designers through coding

Attitude in the project

The main challenge has been getting inside a group dynamic that was already established and formed. I studied everything they did until that point, understood their research, explored their process and slowly joined their group dynamics with sensitivity. Only after understanding the "why's" of their decisions, I started giving my advices. Thoughtful considerations that I formed observing their work from an external point of view. I think that this enriched our final product.
